Shame for the game.. A batsmen who scored 10000 runs in ODI cricket cannot find a place in WorldX1 side but players who play when they feel like playing(Flintoff and Vettori) find a place. Laxman who is called as Very Very Special by Australians themselves..cannot find a place in 14 selected for tests and saddest thing is Kumble.For Gavaskar vettori is a better spinner than Anil!!For all these selectors form is more important than class. If current form is the criteria then what has Sehwag got to do in the squad??
Sourav may not have been in great form in the recent past but he definitely deserves a place in the worldX1.. After all he is next to sachin when it comes to most number of centuries in ODI's.

Yea, what you say is true. Class is permanent. But unfortunately, the organizers want to treat this tournament as a spectacle, so they want to make sure everyone is "comfortable" in playing. After all, its AUS that the worldXI are playing against.
