B4 Engineering/After Engineering..

Before writing about engineering course,I have to mention about those painful 12'th class days where the institution we study are only intersted in their front page ads . After the results are announced they want to see their instituion names with bold names and attractive captions and displaying the students marks/ranks in a big size claiming it as their achievement. Those poor students whose photos are published should be happy only for the fact that their photos are published . But the whole credit for achieving that marks/rank will be taken by that institution.

Using those marks/ranks the students get into a professional course and they have to select the college according to their marks/ranks obtained in the entrance. Some toppers get into REC's rather NIT's. Some people select the college by checking the established date..others select by taking transport and performance into consideration.. now the new parameter which has creeped in is 'Deemed University' status. they are eligible to have their own exam patterns..syllabus(??)..rules..etc. After joining in the college..the 4 years goes on like 4 days..
Day 1: It gets finished before you get over ragging fear and make new friends.
Day 2: It gets finished before you are tired of ragging your junior and showing off your senior-ness to your juniors.
Day 3: Time not enough for you to enjoy your engineering life along with your friends and juniors.
day 4: Since we r in the final year we need to enjoy as much as possible because we wont get these days again.

In between these hectic schedules.. we some how manage to open those useless.Digital Electronics..Algorthims...Networks..books because we are tired of playing cricket..caroms and reading novels. Some how we manage to get 70-75% with our own knowledge and intelligence in the examinations and come out of the institution. Thats why I say " I was born Intelligence but education ruined me"...

After coming out you wait eagerly for wednesday to come to look into opportunities section in Hindu and you start applying for TCS..CTS..Wipro..satyam.. write those analytical tests and get into the best MNC's. In the company you will be working along with a 90% or 95% topper with same sal.. .So what I understood was your degree in Engineering is the only passport for you to get a job. Your marks are not at all a criteria. once you enter a company 95%=60%..and there you can even outshine that 95% wth your talent and attitude.. . some of my friends who got 85% in all the sems.. are still thinking what to do..
