Tiger on the prowl @ Chennai

It was June 9'th 2007.The summer was at it's peak in Chennai.

Venue:MA Chidambaram Stadium,Chepauk,Chennai.
Event:2'nd ODI Afro-Asia Cup.

The event was more special because a Royal Bengal Tiger,known for its shrewd aggressiveness and leadership qualities is vice Captain for the Asian Team.

12:30 PM: I entered the stadium after purchasing my ticket.

1:00 PM: Settled down and started dreaming about How this Tiger would attack the African Safari in Chennai.

1:20 PM:The crowd started to shout as if the sky was falling and when I glanced at the pavillion,the Tiger was walking towards the centre of the ground to practice.

It was one of happiest moments in my life watching my most fav.cricketer from a distance of 20 feet.Watching him play at nets was a treat.His bat lift,the stylishness in his batting,his concentration..no words to express.

2:30 PM: Match started.Sehwag and Jayasurya began the innings.When Jayasurya got our for 11 in 7'th over..the whole ground began shouting.Should I tell you the reason??

3:15-6 PM: One of the most happiest times in my life.Watching Dada play.His trade mark boundaries,his foot work against spinners..wah!Kyaa scene hai!!

Tiger @ Office

After working in the same company for almost 3 years( A sin like thing in this industry if one works in the same place for more than 15 months), I decided to move to a new job.Finaly landed in Office Tiger.New job..new place and new work culture.Since the previous one was a small company,the work culture was a bit diferent.It took some time for me to get adjusted to MNC kind a work culture.Work is a bit challenging here.The office timings in previous office was fixed.Come by 9..leave by 5:30. But thats not the case here.I need to work 8 hours a day.In time and out time is left to you. Hope I'll b like a Tiger at this office till the last day of my work here.

New Lesense!

I wanted to get myself a 2 wheeler license..so I joined a car driving course. No..nothing confusing..car driving+4 wheeler license+2 wheeler license will b taken car by the driving institute..Finally I felt elated that I will b getting a new sense .But on the very first day the person who is supposed to teach me started scolding me for holding the stearing tight for pressing accelerator instead of break.

Slowly I learnt controlling stearing and learnt other small issues(No not pressing a horn..).Then came the day for me to take LLR. people cautioned about the test and attitude of the people who work there.Surprisingly,they gave me answer paper free for the questions they gave me. It took me 18 seconds to fill the answer sheet and I got my LLR.Do u understand y the accidents r more here??Even guys/gals who r below 18 r getting their licences.

On one side I feel happy that I got my LLR in no time.But on the other side, I pity our organisations which function so irresponsibly. The police inspector rushes through applications @ 3 per minute. U give 20 rs to the peon there.. u will b moved to first place in the queue. What a license..fell free to come to India..

Though written in Telugu, the picture says it all!! On Friday Indian batsmen raced along with time. They misunderstood the board's Instructions. The board wanted the players to reach the hotel early before they leave on a foreign tour. Instead they reached the dressing room early!!

Not my fault!!

Two weeks ago, I went to a restaraunt in Adayar along with my friend.This time it was my turn to loose some cash.We almost spent 2 hours there chatting various issues ranging from work in office to Indian Team's captain selection policy.

After washing my hand in the finger bowl, I took my debit card and gave it to the person concerned. he came after 5 mins and says' Sir there is no cash in ur account'. I really felt embarrassed. What I had in my wallet was some 50 bucks for me to reach home. I knew I had some amount left in my account. I had to rush to the nearest ATM (since it was my treat, my friends's wallet was also empty!) to get the cash. When I checked my balance in the ATM,the balance left was 10 times more than the amount printed in the bill.

Did the barer do it intentionally to get his tips??If I had paid the bill by card, his chances of getting the tips are less. he made me pay the bill by cash and got his tips.
